Owlchemy Labs continues to pour its heart into its products, delivering yet another endlessly silly VR game dripping with character. True to its predecessor, Vacation Simulator is chock full of secrets and was clearly crafted with love. While my time with the experience at the Tribeca Virtual Arcade was short, it was long enough to develop a genuine appreciation of the little details Owlchemy Labs has included in this sequel. This in turn gained me access to a scuba diving kit in which to explore the crystal-clear waters. For instance, by completing certain objectives for a particular instructor located on the dock, I was eventually able to unlock my diver’s certificate. Upon first entering Vacation Island you’ll be greeted by an entire host of relaxation robots each designed to make sure your stay is as fun as mathematically possible. When all jobs are completed, the player gains access to modifiers, which make the gameplay more challenging by making objects float or bounce, or scaling everything down. The game gives the player a lot of freedom while doing the jobs. Most items that are within the player's reach can be picked up and interacted with. Using controllers and VR goggles, the player can interact with various objects in the game. The player has to perform various tasks, some are realistic and others are comical. Player has four jobs to choose from: a Gourmet Chef, an Office Worker, an Auto Mechanic, and a Store Clerk. ![]() The player takes part in simulated jobs in the job museum run by robots. In a world where robots have replaced all human jobs, step into the "Job Simulator" to learn what it was like 'to job'. A sequel, Vacation Simulator, was released in 2019. The game is available on Playstation VR, Oculus Quest, Meta Quest 2, Oculus Rift and Steam. They have 'efficient' glasses with a white shirt, a black sacko/cardigan, and a green necktie with stock graph arrows of revenue increasing.
